Conditions of hire
As of August 2010
1 Plant is hired under the general conditions of hiring plant in accordance with the terms of the Hire Association Europe
2 The hirer is responsible for the insurance and safe keeping of plant from time of delivery to time of collection.
3 The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all plant is kept in Safe working order. Charges will be raised to cover plant returned in dirty or damaged condition, fair wear and TEAR expected.
4 All operated plant rates are inclusive of fuel. the hirer is responsible for ensuring that either the machine has access to a filling station or the hirer is to make their own arrangements.
5 Any punctures to wheeled plant WILL BE repaired by ourselves and charged at cost plus 20%.
6 hire charges start from time of plant leaving our yard or from delivery to collection time by our transport.
7 All breakers will be supplied with steels but sharpening charges will be raised on used items (£5.00). lost or broken steels will be charged at £25.00.
8 Purchase orders are requested to cover all transactions as We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity of the person signing for plant.
9 All plant will be delivered with full tank of fuel, which will be filled on return and charged at 60 pence per litre (where applicable).
10 All deliveries and collections to be charged at £25.00 each way. Excluding heras fencing which is by agreement.
11 if requested operating instructions will be given on delivery but it is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the equipment is used correctly by competent operator and we accept no excuse for misuse.
12 Any damage to diamond blades (as above) will result in replacement charges being incurred (£250.00 TO £450.00).
Please note:
All hire is charged from time-out to time-in, including weekends & bank holidays.

All these machines are operated by experienced personnel
Overtime rate of £10.00 / hr after normal working hours.
Minimum of a 4 hour hire period.
Travelling time is to be charged at hire rates.
Tracked machines etc delivery to site P.O.A.
All rates are negotiable for long hire periods.
We will discount any other genuine plant hire quotation.
We would always be happy to quote for all types of work.
Police escorts to/from site by hirer.
Note: if the plant you wish to hire is not on this list please inquire if it has been purchased since production of this list.
